Dr. Jessica Cardona, H.BSc., N.D.

Dr. Jessica Cardona is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario.  Prior to obtaining her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine she completed an Honors Bachelors degree in Biomedical Biology from Laurentian University.  Since graduation, Dr. Cardona has established her practice as a Naturopathic Doctor through a number of clinics located in Sudbury, Ontario, and is now expanding her practice to the Greater Toronto area.  While she has developed an eclectic practice, she has cultivated particular expertise in women’s health, pain management, digestive concerns, detoxification & weight loss, cosmetic medicine, and preventative healthcare. Dr. Cardona’s vision is to promote the health of her patients through a natural, individualized and comprehensive approach. With a treatment grounded in Naturopathic philosophy and evidence-based research, she uses a wide array of modalities including Nutritional & Botanical Medicines, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, as well as Diet and Lifestyle Counselling. Dr. Cardona pursued additional training in Reiki, Parenteral IV therapy, and Cosmetic Acupuncture. She is in good standing through the Naturopathic regulatory body, the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy (BDDT-N), and is an active professional member of both the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, Jessica is immensely passionate about working with people to help them better understand their health and its role in providing an empowered and superior quality of life. In February 2008, Dr. Cardona took part in a medical brigade and volunteered her time in Nicaragua servicing the medical needs of under-privileged communities on the island of Ometepe. Jessica hopes to continue exploring different parts of the world while expanding her knowledge of Naturopathic Medicine in the future. She also shares a passion for the arts and has studied piano for 11 years through the Royal Conservatory of Music (R.C.M) and trained actively in Cecchetti Ballet for 20 years.
